Bookshelf is a piece of furniture in our living room, almost always with horizontal shelves, it used to store books or other printed materials. Bookshelf may be fitted with glass doors or without any door. In Malaysia (especially in Kuala Lumpur), the home space become smaller with the price of home space increasing, majority of the houses in Kuala Lumpur only with 2-3 rooms, they do not have extra room as a study room (or working room or reading room), they need to put their bookshelves in their living. Putting bookshelves in living room become a new trend for in modern world especially in a big city like Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
